MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead Police say the parents of a student who brought what turned out to be THC products to a middle school are jailed on felony drug charges.
Martin, 40, and Amanda, 43, Hulst of Moorhead were identified as suspects after nearly a dozen students at Horizon Middle School became sick Monday after eating what they thought was candy. The students complained of nausea after eating the THC, but were uncooperative during the investigation.
Police say officers searched a home in the 1100 block of 10 1/2 Street N. in Moorhead where they found prohibited amounts of THC products along with psychedelic mushrooms and large amounts of cash.
The Hulsts were arrested Wednesday morning.
