FINLEY, N.D. (KFGO) – A Napoleon, North Dakota man is facing numerous felony charges after a shots fired incident in Finley, North Dakota.
Deputies say Jesse Pierce fired shots in town, threatened multiple people including law enforcement and resisted arrest.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to the home after four gunshots were reportedly fired off in town. Court documents say when a deputy arrived he found pierce hiding behind a flower pot in a yard. The deputy later found a gun hidden in the flower pot.
Deputies arrested Pierce, causing him to become angry. He allegedly head butted a patrol vehicle and tried to head butt a deputy. Pierce was later forced to the ground. Court documents say while on the ground, Pierce told law enforcement he would kill them and their family members. He also reportedly said he worked for the drug cartel in Mexico and that if he didn’t kill them the cartel would.
Court documents say Pierce’s blood alcohol content was .12, he was taken to the Cass County Jail and is being held on charges including terrorizing, resisting arrest and shooting a gun inside city limits.
