UPDATE – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman who died in a house explosion near Parkers Prairie as 77-year-old Paulette Venzke who lived at the home.
A dog is missing and presumed dead.
Authorities don’t suspect foul play.
A Henning firefighter was injured in the initial response. He was treated and released from the hospital.
PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. (KFGO) – One person was killed in a house explosion near Parkers Prairie Tuesday morning.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says the explosion was reported around 9:30 this morning.
The house was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
One person was found dead inside the home.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal has been contacted and will investigate.
