NORTH DAKOTA (KFGO) – Hector International Airport and Devils Lake Regional Airport set new August passenger records.
53,392 people got on planes in Fargo. That’s 2,525 more than in August 2025.
1,124 people got on planes in Devils Lake. That’s 178 more than last year.
North Dakota Aeronautics Commission numbers show there was a 4% decrease in passenger boardings in August 2026 statewide from the previous year.
Part of the reason for that was because the primary runway at Jamestown Regional Airport was closed for 16 days.
