SHEYENNE, N.D. (KFGO) – Five people from New Rockford are injured after a single-vehicle crash near Sheyenne in Eddy County, North Dakota
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday, the driver failed to navigate a curve and went off the road, overcorrecting and running off the road into the ditch.
The 26-year-old driver was taken to a hospital in Carrington with minor injuries, Troopers say he could be charged with DUI.
Four passengers in the vehicle, including two juveniles suffered serious injuries.
One passenger, a 23-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. A 32-year-old female passenger has suspected serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The highway patrol is investigating the crash.
