FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – Crews are working to repair a watermain break in Fargo near 13th Avenue South and 15th Street South. According to the City of Fargo, six homes are affected by the broken main.
The city says the Public Works Department was notified of the break early Tuesday morning. While the city says they are still unsure about the cause of the break, construction crews were working in the area this week for storm sewer repairs. They hope the cause becomes more clear after crews take out the broken pipe.
“We appreciate the patience of the affected residents as we work to safely restore water service as quickly as possible,” Public Works Services Manager Corey Houim said. “The road closure on 13th Avenue South from University Drive South to 15th Street South that was in place for the initial construction work remains in place.”
