WAHPETON, N.D. (KFGO) — A Wahpeton man has been charged with several felonies for drug possession in addition to a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.
Court documents say police were called to an apartment in Wahpeton Tuesday for a domestic violence call involving 21-year-old Jarae Harles. He was arrested, and officers saw drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain sight. Harles consented to a search of his apartment, and investigators from the End of Woods Drug Task Force were called. They found a .22 revolver handgun, along with more drugs.
Harles is charged with drug possession, domestic violence, and illegally possessing a firearm. He had previously been charged in Cass County for allegedly raping a minor in 2025. That case remains open.
