HANKINSON, N.D. (KFGO) – A domestic disturbance call early Saturday morning led to a DUI arrest after a driver crashed his vehicle into several trees, authorities said.
Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic incident near 165th Avenue Southeast and 94th Street Southeast around 1:25 a.m. They discovered a white Chrysler 300 disabled in a ditch. Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling west when it left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck several trees.
While searching the surrounding area, deputies located the driver, identified as 35-year-old Kyle Price Wolfe.
Wolfe was arrested for driving under the influence. He was flown by Sanford Airmed to a hospital for treatment of possible serious injuries.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is assisting the sheriff’s office with the ongoing investigation. The Hankinson Fire Department, Hankinson Ambulance, and Ambulance Service Inc. also assisted at the scene.
