MOORHEAD (KFGO) — A Moorhead man was arrested for attempted murder early Saturday morning after police say he hit someone he knew with his car.
Moorhead Police were called just before midnight to 3403 28th Ave S for a report that a man had been hit by a vehicle. The victim had life-threatening injuries and was brought to a local hospital. He is in critical condition.
Police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Roel Rivera. He was arrested for attempted murder, felony first- and second-degree assault, and leaving the scene of a crash. Rivera is in the Clay County jail.
