The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks lost the series finale to the Chicago Dogs Sunday afternoon in Chicago by a score of 8-6.
The RedHawks got on the board first with a 1st inning 2 run home run from Dillion Thomas. The lead would not hold however as the Dogs responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the first. Starting pitcher Angelo Cabral would eventually gave up 6 runs in 6 innings, and while the RedHawks made two separate 2 run rallies in the 7th and 8th, they ultimately were unable to reach the 8 runs Chicago scored. The RedHawks are back at home on Tuesday.
