SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State men’s golfer Brock Winter has been named the Summit League Men’s Golfer of the Week, league officials announced Thursday afternoon.
Winter recorded his fifth top-10 finish of the season, taking fifth at the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Bison sophomore opened and closed the 54-hole event with rounds of 68.
The Stillwater, Minn., native carded 13 birdies and an eagle through the three-day event to shoot a 212 (-4) total. Winter now has seven rounds in the 60’s this season and four rounds of 4-under-par.
Winter is the first Bison men’s golfer to receive the honor this year and the first Bison overall to collect the award since Nate Deziel collected it on April 7, 2021, following a strong performance at the same Golfweek spring event.
