The top seeded Moorhead Spuds trailed their Minnesota State AA Quarterfinal game vs. Lakeville South 3-1 and 4-2 before ripping off four unanswered goals to win 7-4. Mason Kraft led the way with four goals including an empty-netter after Brooks Cullen scored the go ahead goal in the third period. The Spuds will face the winner of the Edina vs. Rogers match-up Friday night at the Xcel Energy Center for the semifinals.
