STUTSMAN CO., N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a Dickinson man is facing a charge following a crash Thursday afternoon west of Jamestown.
The driver, 60-year-old Dwayne Cason of Dickinson, lost control of his SUV on I-94 and went into the ditch, continued into a slough, across open water, and came to rest on its wheels in cattails.
Troopers helped Cason and his passenger from the slough. Both were transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center by ambulance. The passenger was not hurt.
Cason had minor injuries and remains in the hospital. He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
