LITCHFIELD, Minn. – Authorities west of the Twin Cities are identifying the woman shot to death by her husband near Dassel in Meeker County.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death of 29-year-old Kayla Demarais as a homicide resulting from multiple gunshot wounds.
Bryan Demarais makes his first court appearance Tuesday on a second-degree murder charge. He called 911 Thurs. morning and said that he had shot his wife.
Two children who were in the home at the time were placed in protective custody.
