BECKER CO. MINN (KFGO) – The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal crash in Becker County as 36-year-old Timothy Mitchell of Detroit Lakes. The crash happened Friday afternoon on Highway 59.
Minnesota State Patrol says Mitchell was traveling southbound, crossed the center line, and crashed into a semi that was headed northbound.
Mitchell died at the scene.
The crash happened around 4 pm, south of North Tower Road.
The driver of the semi, a man from Detroit Lakes, was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
