ST. PAUL, Minn. – An 18-year-old man is accused of stealing a backpack with over $20,000 in cash from food truck, Eggroll Queen, in St. Paul.
Police responded to the food truck on Sept. 13 when the owner called 911 to report a theft from her vehicle. The owner claims the bag included the business’s past month’s proceeds, around $20,000-$30,000 in cash, jewelry, checkbooks, and electronic devices.
Police found Frank Gums at a motel in St. Paul off of a witness tip, where he was arrested. Gums denied involvement in the theft.
