(KFGO/KNFL) The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks used the longball in a 11-2 over Lincoln on Thursday night at Haymarket Park.
Sam Dexter started the scoring with a two-run homer in the second inning to give F-M a 2-0 lead. Dexter added a triple and drove home five runs on the game. The RedHawks put the game out of reach with seven runs in the fourth innings, with the big hit a grand slam for Scott Schreiber. It was his second home run in three games since joining the team.
BJ Lopez also homered for the RedHawks.
Kevin McGovern (6-4) was the winning pitcher allowing two runs on four hits. It was his first win since June 20.
F-M is back home to host Sioux City this weekend for a three-game series at Newman Outdoor Field.
