PLYMOUTH, Minn. – A man from Plymouth is accused of beating his brother to death with a baseball bat Thursday morning.
Prosecutors are charging Eric Spanier, 47, with second-degree murder.
According to the criminal complaint, Spanier called 9-1-1 and admitted to assaulting his younger brother with a wood bat. Officers found him shirtless and bloody, and his brother unconscious in the garage.
The victim died a short time later in the hospital.
