(KFGO/KNFL) Devils Lake native Grant Nelson has withdrawn his name from this summer’s NBA Draft and will return to college, per multiple reports.
Grant Nelson will withdraw from the 2023 NBA Draft and return to school next season, per his agent David Mondress.
Transfer from North Dakota State who averaged 17.9 PPG and 9.3 RPG last season.

Nelson announced in April he was entering the NBA Draft. He averaged 17.9 points and and 9.3 rebounds per game last season for the NDSU Bison. He was an All-Summit League first team and and All-Summit League Defensive Team. He had a career-high 36 points vs. UND on January 27, and set a Summit League Tournament record with 22 rebounds versus South Dakota State in March.
Nelson has one year of college eligibility remaining.
