PEMBINA, N.D. (KFGO) – The Pembina County Sheriff’s Office says a man’s body was discovered a quarter mile west of the Port of Entry on Thursday.
Sheriff Terry Meidinger says a resident who was working in a field found the body in a water-filled drainage ditch approximately 20 yards from the U.S.-Canadian border.
An autopsy has been ordered and identification is pending. The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, U.S. Border Patrol, and Pembina Fire assisted at the scene.
