ISLE, Minn. – Investigators believe carbon monoxide poisoning caused the deaths of a Brooklyn Park couple — Mai Lee and Moon Lee, both age 66 — inside a hunting cabin in Mille Lacs County.
The sheriff’s office says the son of the victims discovered his parents dead on Sunday night. The Isle Fire Department found dangerous levels of carbon monoxide inside the cabin.
It is believed the couple had been using a small charcoal stove for heat without proper ventilation.
