BISMARCK, N.D. – The increased traffic over the Labor Day weekend has resulted in an uptick in serious crashes around the state.
The NDHP has identified a West Fargo man who died after he hit a concrete pillar near the I-29 and I-94 interchange Saturday. Authorities say Zachery Noble, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Grand Forks residents were killed in a one car crash near Crookston late Friday night. The Minnesota State Patrol says a 35 year old female driver was heading east on Highway 2 when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Both the driver and a 33 year old male passenger died in the accident. Troopers responded to the scene near South Road shortly after 11:30 p.m. The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of relatives.
A Friday night crash between a motorcycle and a truck killed a Zahl, N.D. man. Authorities say Dominic Cunahan struck the turning semi on Highway 50 east of Grenada around 10:15 p.m.
A two vehicle crash Saturday night in Dickinson claimed the life of a 22 year old man. The NDHP says Dylan Berger of Dickinson missed an intersection stop sign and was hit on the driver’s side by an oncoming car. Berger later died of his injuries at a Bismarck hospital.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 68-year-old Moorhead man was seriously injured when he hit a raised concrete median on I-29 Sunday. Authorities say the driver was traveling south on the north shoulder of the Interstate when the crash occurred.
