(KFGO/KNFL) The Fargo 12U All-Stars stayed alive with a win on Monday in the Little League Baseball Midwest Region Tournament in Whitestown, Indiana. The North Dakota representative beat their Kansas counterparts by a 10-6 score.
After each team scores three runs in the 1st inning, Fargo took the lead for good with three runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning, and added four runs in the bottom of the 4th.
Ben Suda and Cormac Nagle each drove in a pair of runs for Fargo, while Eli Schneider went 3-3 with 3 runs scored. Ty Thingvold picked up the win on the mound, going all six innings allowing seven hits, and one earned run.
Fargo will meet Coon Rapids/Andover, MN for the second time in the tournament, with an 11 AM first pitch on Tuesday morning. Fargo won the first meeting, 5-2 on Friday.
