Six different Casselton batters had at least two hits in the win. Ethan Muchow had a pair of doubles and 4 RBI. Brayden Mitchell added three hits as the Haymakers ran through tournament undefeated after taking the #2 from the East Region.
Carter Maasjo pitched four innings to get the win on the mound. He allowed four hits, three runs (all unearned), and five strikeouts.
Ozzie Eagan drove in two for the Jets, who reached the State Class A final after coming into the East Region Tournament as the #9 seed.
