MEDORA, N.D. (KFGO) – On the heels of its completed purchase of 90 acres from the U.S. Forest Service, the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library now has even more land to its name thanks to a gift from the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation.
The donated 3.5 acres will be used for shared parking, walking and hiking pathways, and a redesigned passage to both the Burning Hills Amphitheatre where the Medora Musical takes place and the Library, which is set to open in 2026.
The two organizations also signed a Memorandum of Understanding which creates an access easement for the T.R. Library’s use of Chateau Road, a critical step toward beginning construction of the library next year.
