TACOMA, Wash. – The North Dakota State women’s golf team finished in eighth place at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational at Tacoma Country Club on Tuesday.
The Bison came in eighth place after assembling rounds of 298, 308 and 306 for a total of 912. Seattle (287-295-303–885) won the tournament with Santa Clara (297-294-298–889) following up in second place. Utah Valley (294-300-301–895) rounded out the top three finishing in third place.
Catherine Monty led the way for the Bison tied for 21st place after assembling rounds of 73, 77 and 76 for a total of 226. Leah Skaar (75-79-76–230) and Maddie Herzog (76-78-76–230) each moved up two spots on the final day to finish tied for 40th place. Elise Hoven (81-74-78–233) wrapped up play tied for 61st place, while Jo Baranczyk (74-82-79–235) posted a tied for 68th place finish.
As a team, the Bison connected on 155 pars and 29 birdies.
The Bison will be back in action in on Feb. 20 at the Dual in the Desert in La Quinta, Calif., at Rancho La Quinta Country Club.
