DULUTH (KFGO/MNN) — Enbridge Line 3 protesters prevented the Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth from rising Thursday afternoon. Duluth police say the demonstrators were on the bridge for about 30 minutes, preventing access for vehicles and pedestrians along with watercraft passage through the shipping channel. Protesters eventually obeyed a dispersal order and left the bridge and continue to march.
Officers say no arrests were made and no one was injured.
The incident followed a march from the St. Louis County Courthouse to the U-S Army Corps of Engineers building.
