RED LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) – A Red Lake Nation Tribal Officer in Northern Minnesota has been shot and killed in the line of duty.
The FBI says officer Ryan Bialke was shot Tuesday morning while police were responding to a call at a home on the reservation. A suspect is under arrest. Tribal Chairman Darrell Seki has ordered all flags on the reservation lowered to half-staff throughout the week.
Red Lake Reservation is home to about half of the tribe’s 14,000 members.
