ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – US Attorney Erica MacDonald says it has been her “great honor and privilege” to serve to District of Minnesota and the United States.
MacDonald is stepping down as the state’s US Attorney after a little more than two years on the job.
First Assistant US Attorney Anders Folk will serve as the acting US Attorney while the position is filled.
It is common for a US Attorney to leave the office following a presidential transition – especially when a different party takes over the White House.
