FARGO (KVRR/KFGO) – Dairy Farmers of America is responding to the authorization of a strike at the Cass-Clay Creamery in Fargo.
As part of ongoing negotiations, members of Teamsters Local 120 voted to authorize a strike on Monday. There is no strike currently taking place.
In a statement, Dairy Farmers of America says they are actively working on a new collective bargaining agreement to continue offering competitive wages and benefits.
They add that they are “committed to a respectful, constructive bargaining process in good faith and to reaching a fair and equitable agreement that best supports our employees, their wellbeing, and the long-term success of our farmer-owners and their Cooperative.”
