The UND Hockey team is heading to the Sioux Falls Region as the top seed to face red-hot Merrimack College 7:30pm Thursday night (3/26). The Warriors defeated UConn 2-1 to win their first ever Hockey East Championship, and did it as an eight seed. If UND wins they will face the winner of the 4pm game between Providence vs. Quinnipiac on Saturday (3/28).
Other NCHC teams on the tournament: UMD is heading to the Albany, NY Region to face Penn State Friday. Western Michigan is the top seed in the Loveland, Colorado Region with Denver as the host school. The Broncos will face Minnesota State-Mankato Friday afternoon and the Pioneers will face Cornell in the second game.
