(Eagan, MN) Murray, who was selected first overall in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals out of Oklahoma, comes to Minnesota for his eighth season in the NFL in 2026. Named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year following the 2019 season, Murray is a two-time Pro Bowler (2020 and 2021), six-time NFC Offensive Player of the Week and served six consecutive seasons as a team captain for the Cardinals (2020-25). In seven seasons in Arizona, Murray started all 87 games he played, completing 67.1% of his passes for 20,460 yards and 121 touchdowns, earning a 92.2 passer rating. On the ground, he added 3,193 yards and 32 touchdowns on 532 carries. Murry’s single-season career bests include a 69.2 completion percentage (2021), 3,971 passing yards (2020) and 26 touchdown passes (2020). During the 2020 season, he achieved career highs in rushing attempts (133), rushing yards (819) and rushing touchdowns (11).
