GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics)– Following the 38-35 loss at No. 17/20 Kansas State, North Dakota enters the Stats Perform Poll at No. 20 and is No. 22 in the AFCA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
The MVFC has six teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State (No. 1) and South Dakota State (No. 2) hold the top two spots, trailed by South Dakota (No. 4) and Illinois State (No. 7). Southern Illinois moved up six spots and is now No. 14, while North Dakota comes into the poll at No. 20.
In the AFCA Coaches’ Top 25, the league has six teams ranked. The Bison (No. 1) have the top spot, trailed by the Jackrabbits (No. 2). The Coyotes (No. 6) and Redbirds (No. 7) also appear in the top-10. The Salukis also appear in the top-15 of the poll and are No. 15, while the Fighting Hawks round out the poll for the MVFC members and come in at No. 22.
No. 20/22 North Dakota will host Portland State at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be televised on Midco Sports and carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
