RedHawks defeated the Goldeyes in a high scoring game Wednesday night. They got 5 on the board in the top of the 2nd inning, and never relinquished the lead. Brendon Dadson started the top of the 2nd off with a solo homerun, and after another driven in Dillon Thomas hit a 3 run home run.
The Goldeneyes would make a comeback attempt in the bottom of the 6th, scoring 4 runs and cutting it to a one run game, but that would be the end of the scoring for both teams, and Garrett Alexander picked up his 3rd save of the season.
The RedHawks next game will be the final road game vs Winnipeg, 6:30 Start time. After that they will return home for Independence Day weekend, still playing against Winnipeg. The game on the 4th will begin at 7:02pm.
