FARGO (KNFL/KFGO/REDHAWKS) – The Redhawks were back home last night to start a 6 game homestand with Lake Country, and then Sioux City. First, they started a 3 game weekend series with the Lake Country Dockhounds, and pitching was the main headline, especially by Redhawks starter, Kyle Crigger.
Crigger would pitch 8 innings, while only giving up 1 earned run. He also gave up 6 hits.
The Dockhounds would start the scoring on an RBI groundout that resulted in a doubleplay. Fargo Moorhead would respond in the 7th, on an RBI fielders choice by Aiden Byrne. Lake Country would inevitably take the lead in the 9th on a sacrifice fly to win the game 2-1.
The Redhawks look to even the series at a game a piece this evening. The pregame show begins at 5:40 on AM 740 The FAN KNFL Fargo/107.3 FM.
