GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics)– Freshman forward Sacha Boisvert garnered another award on Wednesday, earning the NCHC Rookie of the Month honor for November, as announced by the league office.
Boisvert put together a strong month for the Fighting Hawks, pacing the squad with five goals and sitting second on the team with eight points in 10 games. The Trois-Rivières, Québec, native led all freshmen skaters in the NCHC in goals and points, while sitting tied for second among all skaters with his five tallies.
He was at his best over the final few weeks of the month, potting goals in four straight games from Nov. 16-29 and tallied a pair of multi-point games against Cornell and Robert Morris.
On the season, Boisvert leads the team with six goals and is tied for the team lead with 12 points.
North Dakota will return to NCHC play this weekend against Miami beginning on Friday night at 6:05 p.m. (CT) from Oxford, Ohio.
