ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – A Minnetonka man has been indicted for the production and receipt of child sexual abuse material and coercing and enticing minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
According to court documents, on multiple occasions between October 2014 and last March, Dorian Barrs, 32, used Snapchat, text messaging, and social media to engage minor girls in sexually focused conversations.
The US Attorney’s Office says while in his position of trust as a volleyball coach, Barrs coerced and persuaded minor girls to engage in sexual activity with him and produce and send him sexually explicit material.
Attempts to identify additional victims are ongoing. The charges say some of the victims Barrs communicated with were as young as 13.
