ARTHUR, N.D. (KFGO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has cancelled the missing person alert for Leita Golden.
Sheriff Jesse Jahner says Golden was found safely with family in northern Arkansas Thursday afternoon.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the disappearance of a woman from the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, North Dakota. 48-year-old Leita Golden is considered vulnerable.
The Sheriff’s Office is working with state and federal agencies in trying to find Golden. Warrants have been used to gather information from electronic devices and at a residence in the western part of the state.
Golden has family in Arkansas and the Sheriff’s Department has been in contact with law enforcement in that state. Anyone with information on Golden is urged to call Red River Regional Dispatch.
