FARGO (KFGO) – It’s Severe Weather Awareness week in North Dakota, and the City of Fargo plans to participate in a statewide tornado drill Wednesday, April 24.
The City will test sirens during the drill at 11:15 a.m., and is encouraging residents to participate by practicing tornado sheltering plans.
As a reminder, when sirens are activated outside a scheduled test, people should find shelter inside, tune into local media, and not assume the sirens are weather-related.
Cass Fargo Emergency Management recommends signing up for Cass Clay Alerts to receive messages during an emergency.
