Bison Roll to 73-60 Road Win over Oral Roberts
The Bison led for more than 27 minutes of the contest. With the score knotted at 28-28 just under four minutes before halftime, Jacari White hit a three, and Miller scored a pair of buckets to put NDSU up by seven. The Bison were up 38-30 at halftime and maintained a lead for the entire second half.
ORU pulled within five points at 63-58 with 4:50 left, but White scored on the next possession and the Bison strung together nine straight stops at the defensive end to win the game. NDSU closed on a 10-2 run.
NDSU, ranked 11th in the nation for three-point shooting, connected on 9-of-23 (39 percent) from beyond the arc in the game.
Boden Skunberg had 14 points and six rebounds for NDSU, White added 13 points, and Noah Feddersen pulled down a season-high 10 boards.
In holding ORU to 60 points, NDSU matched its season-low for a D-I opponent. The Golden Eagles shot 35 percent for the game.
The Bison will play at Denver on Saturday, with tip scheduled for 3 p.m. CT / 2 p.m. MT.

Big Second Half Lifts NDSU Women’s Basketball Past Oral Roberts, 83-73
FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women’s basketball team picked up its fourth straight win after downing Oral Roberts, 83-73, on Thursday night at Scheels Center.
Heaven Hamling led the way for the Bison (15-9, 9-2 Summit) with her fourth 20-point game of the season with a team-high 21 points on 5-of-7 shooting from three. The Grand Rapids, Minn., native also hauled in six rebounds with five assists and two steals. Elle Evans contributed 12 points with five rebounds, while Abby Schulte also tallied 12 points with five rebounds. Avery Koenen rounded out the group grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds with eight points.
As a team, NDSU shot 53.6 percent (30-56) from the field and 47.9 percent (9-19) from three. NDSU also grabbed 43 rebounds with eight different players contributing at least one.
After committing 13 first half turnovers and trailing at the break, 41-36, NDSU responded in the third quarter shooting a game-best 63.2 percent from the field. The Bison were able to construct an 8-2 run to open up six-point edge, 56-50, after Abby Graham drained a triple at the 3:41 mark.
NDSU carried the energy into the fourth frame with five straight points to extend the lead to 76-62 after Koenen connected on a jumper with 4:25 remaining. The Bison went on to hold off the Golden Eagles (16-9, 7-5 Summit) the rest of the way to earn the 83-73 win.
NDSU will be back in action hosting Denver on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
