ST. PAUL – This Friday, December 15, is the deadline to sign up through the state-run MNsure exchange for 2024 health insurance if you want coverage to start on January 1st.
C-E-O Libby Caulum says it will guarantee coverage for the full 12 months of the year.
For those who sign up between December 16th and January 15th of next year, coverage will begin February 1st.
The deadlines do not apply to Minnesotans who qualify for Medical Assistance (Minnesota’s version of Medicaid) or for MinnesotaCare.
Caulum says this year’s enrollment is about 45 hundred ahead of last year’s pace, with about 119 thousand signed up so far during this year’s enrollment period.
