WEST FARGO (KFGO) – The West Fargo City Commission has named Dustin Scott as the next city administrator. He currently serves as the assistant city administrator and has been the acting city administrator since March of this year when the former city administrator, Tina Fisk resigned.
After a day of in-person interviews Tuesday, with city commissioners, the three finalists, Scott, Kelsey Baker, and Scott Kessel, as well as meet-and-greet sessions with both city staff and the public, commissioners voted unanimously to select Scott.
Mayor Bernie Dardis said, “Scott’s experience and knowledge as well as his commitment to the city’s staff will make him an excellent leader for our city.”
There were initially about 40 applicants for the position.
