MINNEAPOLIS – A Maple Grove man will serve more than 10 years in federal prison for an armed carjacking in the parking lot of a Blaine grocery store.
According to prosecutors, 21-year-old Justin Kittleson pointed a gun at one of the victims next to their car last September and a second victim intervened. Kittleson’s gun discharged, and that man’s ear was grazed by a bullet.
Kittleson then took the car and drove away. He pleaded guilty to carjacking and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.
