SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. – The State Patrol is asking for the public’s help with a fatal crash investigation.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Friday on Highway 10 between Rice and Sauk Rapids in southern Minnesota.
An SUV was heading east when it left the road, went into a ditch, and rolled, coming to rest on its roof. A passenger in the SUV was ejected, struck by a pickup, and died.
The driver of the SUV was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries. Another passenger in the SUV – a 17-year-old boy – was not hurt, and neither was the driver of the pickup.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, may have hit the person in the roadway, or has more information, should contact the Minnesota State Patrol.
