Minnesota’s 94th State FFA Convention kicked off Sunday night at Williams Arena in Minneapolis with the theme All In. For All. The opening session featured chapter charters, Agriscience awards and Models of Innovation recognition. The session was followed by an afternoon of preliminary Leadership Development Events and a reception for FFA alumni.
Retiring State FFA Sentinel Noah Erickson gave the first of six retiring addresses from the 2022-2023 officer team which are scheduled during the course of the convention. Erickson spoke of his passion and fondness for agriculture during his retiring address.
“I was only able to gain this fondness when I allowed how I saw the world to be questioned,” said Erickson. “When we allow our perspective to be challenged, it brings us progress towards a better tomorrow.”
