ROSCOE, Minn. (KFGO) – A Little Falls man is dead after the car he was riding in was rear-ended on Highway 23 west of St. Cloud Thursday morning.
According to the State Patrol, 22-year-old Luke Jacobs was the passenger of a car driven by another man from Fort Ripley. The two were traveling north when the driver slowed to make a turn and a pickup driven by a man from New London crashed into the back of the car.
Jacobs died at the scene. The driver of the car was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in the Twin Cities with life-threatening injuries. Neither man was wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the pickup suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the Paynesville hospital.
