WINONA, Minn. – Minnesota State College Southeast President Marsha Danielson has been reprimanded and has paid over $5,000 restitution, after an internal audit found she inappropriately used college-owned cars for trips between campuses and her home.
Danielson wasn’t allowed to use the vehicles because she received $833 monthly for transportation and communication as part of her contract. Danielson also had to pay $225 for a Minnesota Wild ticket package she said was a work function to meet with community leaders, but auditors disputed that.
Southeast Minnesota State has campuses in Winona and Red Wing.
