DULUTH, Minn. (KFGO) – Authorities are releasing more information about the police shooting in Duluth last Friday that left a man dead.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office says 34-year-old Zachary Shogren of Duluth died of multiple gunshot wounds. The Minnesota BCA says two of the three officers were working undercover with the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, and Officer Jared Blomdahl deployed his Taser. One of the task force members fired a handgun and the other fired 40-mililmeter “less-lethal” rounds.
Investigators said Shogren charged an officer with a knife before being shot.
