FARGO (KFGO) – Sun Country Airlines and Landline will start a new service beginning March 1 that will provide non-stop motorcoach bus transportation from Hector Airport to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Hector Airport Executive Director Shawn Dobberstein and Landline representative Liz Thiesse made the announcement Tuesday.
Landline will provide bus services 5 days a week, once per day. Customers flying Sun Country will be able to book on that airline’s website. People who are not flying Sun Country can book their trip at Landline’s website.
The price of a one-way ticket for passengers flying Sun Country will be $15 and $30 round-trip.
Customers who are not using Sun Country, or not flying at all, can buy tickets starting at $29 one-way.
Dobberstein said the goal of the partnership is to prove the need for Sun Country flights in and out of Fargo. He said, if all goes well, that service could start as soon as six months to a year from now.
