FARGO (KFGO) – The City of Fargo announced their list of candidates for the next city administrator and will begin in-person interviews Friday.
Kenneth Haskin, Pat Oman, James Puffalt, and Michael Redlinger will interview with the selection committee at Fargo City Hall beginning at 7 a.m.
Haskin currently serves as the city manager in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Oman, from Detroit Lakes, has worked in government administration for 20 years and has been Becker County’s administrator since 2021.
Puffalt has served as a city manager in Canada for 30 years, currently in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
Redlinger is the interim city administrator for Fargo, and served as assistant city administrator from July 2016 through June 2022.
“The role of Fargo’s City Administrator is critically important,” Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney said. “Fargo’s chief administrative officer works closely with the City Commission in ensuring our nearly 2,000 employees are offering world-class services every day for our residents, visitors and businesses. I look forward to the in-person interviews and finding Fargo’s next City Administrator.”
The interviews will be livestreamed on the city’s online services.
The selection committee consists of the city commission and several city staff.
31 people applied for the position that was left vacant when Bruce Grubb retired in June.
